About PuckLens

PuckLens is run by two active junior and college hockey players who use video review in their own development. They built this to make that same tool accessible to developing players.

Jacob is a defenseman currently playing in the Ontario Hockey League for the London Knights, one of the most storied franchises in Canadian junior hockey. He previously wore the Kitchener Rangers jersey before being traded to London.

Off the ice, Jacob has committed to Harvard University — one of the most competitive D1 programs in the country. He is also considered an NHL Draft prospect, putting him among the top junior defensemen in North America for his age group.

Jacob grew up playing for the Toronto Jr. Canadiens. His sessions focus on defense-specific skills — gap control, defensive zone coverage, breakout reads, and positioning under pressure.

Kaison is a goaltender drafted by the Brampton Steelheads in the OHL Priority Selection. He will be playing for the Collingwood Blues next season as he continues his development toward the OHL.

At the high school level, Kaison was the starting goaltender for Upper Canada College — one of the most prestigious prep hockey programs in Canada. UCC has produced numerous OHL and university players over the years.

Kaison's development came through the Toronto Marlboros minor hockey club. His goalie sessions cover angles, rebound control, reading the rush, and identifying the breakdown patterns that lead to goals against.

Why we started PuckLens

Video review is standard at the top levels

Every NHL team, every major junior team, and most serious college programs use dedicated video staff. It's not optional — it's how the game is learned at the elite level.

Most players don't have access to it or do not know about it

Unless you're on a well-resourced AAA or prep team, no one is sitting down with you to review your shifts. That gap is what PuckLens is built to close.

Generic advice doesn't cut it

A coach who watched 10 minutes of practice can tell you to 'be more assertive on pucks'. A video session shows you exactly which puck, which play, and why it matters.
